Ensuring A Claim For Damaged Shipments During International Removals

1. Before signing off the freight receipt, make sure that you check the packaging. If possible, open the box to check the shipment inside for nicks, scuffs, scratches, and abrasions. Keep in mind that large and heavy items are more prone to damage than smaller ones.

2. Check too if there are missing parts. This is particularly important when the shipped object is modular and you have disassembled it before vehicle shipping.
